Traveling Shows
Our repertoire of Traveling Shows will grow over time. Plays may range from just ten minutes long, to up to an hour and a half. It includes performers of all ages, and shows range from the serious to the comedic, from short skits or one-act plays to longer Reader's Theatre pieces.
We bring these performances to places like churches, group homes, nursing homes, and assisted living communities, to bring the joy of live theatre to individuals who might otherwise lack access.
Select "Book a Tour" if you would like to book a performance for your church or facility, or other community center. We can also perform for charity events, parties, or other local community events. Tell us the kind of shows you're looking for and we will customize a program based on the needs of your unique audience. Please give us at least a two-month notice.
Join the Reader's Theatre Troupe
This troupe is a great option for performers who don't want to worry about memorizing lines and staging, and who have flexible schedules for performing at a variety of times and places (TBD). Roles are double-- or even triple-- cast to ensure availability.
If you would like to join this troupe as a voice performer or as a sound effects technician, fill out and submit the "Troupe Application" form to contact@kalispellcommunitytheatre.org.
This troupe accepts performers age 14 or older.
All performers and crew must submit a signed Code of Conduct prior to participating in any production. Anyone working directly with minors or other vulnerable individuals must agree to a background check at the expense of the theatre.
Submit a Show
We hope to offer opportunities to playwrights in the community who would like to bring their short scripts to life for a live audience. If we like your show, we will make arrangements with you to produce it for one of the above-mentioned small-scale venues. Email contact@kalispellcommunitytheatre.org to begin the submission process.
