Special Needs Program
Once a year (as funds permit) we will produce a full-stage production specifically for performers with special needs and disabilities. Volunteers are trained to provide one-on-one support in any ways needed to help each performer feel confident and ready to shine. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting program!
Register as a Special Needs Performer
If you are a performer with any kind of support or accommodation needs, you are welcome in our Special Needs Program. Please fill out the attached form and submit to contact@kalispellcommunitytheatre.org to let us know about your unique needs in advance so we can ensure we find the right support person for you. You need not divulge any diagnoses; a simple "I need X support/accommodation" is enough. When it's audition time, fill out the additional audition form and submit online or bring it with you to the audition.
All staff, performers, and volunteers must submit a signed Code of Conduct prior to participating in any production. Anyone working directly with minors or other vulnerable individuals must agree to a background check at the expense of the theatre.
Register as a Peer Support Volunteer
If you feel passionate about supporting our performers with Special Needs, you can fill out the attached form and submit to contact@kalispellcommunitytheatre.org. You will be invited to share any experience or particular skills you have, but prior experience is not necessary-- we will train you!Â

Being a Peer Support Volunteer can be a rewarding experience for anyone looking to broaden their personal horizons, develop empathy and a deeper appreciation for others, or to "give back" to the community in a meaningful and lasting way.
